Visiting Fellow : Lieutenant Colonel Naeem Haider Lieutenant Colonel Naeem Haider was commissioned in an Infantry Battalion of Pakistan Army. He has served on various command, staff and instructional appointments including tenure as an instructor at the School of Infantry and Tactics. He is currently serving at the Arms Control & Disarmament Affairs (ACDA) Directorate of the Strategic Plans Division (SPD) in Pakistan. He is a graduate of Pakistan Army Command & Staff College at Quetta and holds an M.Sc in Defence & Strategic Studies (DSS) from Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) Islamabad. He is a former fellow of The Research Society of International Law (RSIL) Lahore and has participated in several sessions of the Conference on Disarmament (CD) regarding the need to control the humanitarian concerns caused by certain conventional weapons. His current areas of interest at ACDA SPD are matters regarding the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), Biologicaland Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC) and Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW).
