Senior Sassu Research Fellow: Dr. Gaurav Rajen Rajen is a consultant to the Cooperative Monitoring Center at Sandia National Laboratories where he has been studying regional environmental cooperation and nuclear nonproliferation issues in South Asia. He has extensive experience in private industry and academia in environmental engineering, computer modeling and international cooperation and technology transfer. He has a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Delaware, USA, and Master's and bachelor's degrees in aeronautical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, India. He has worked as a consultant for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy, as well as other U.S. and international government and private agencies.
